FACTS WHAT DOES SOUTHERN COASTAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

    How does Southern Coastal Federal Credit Union protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
    SoCo regularly tests and assesses its information security measures and adopts and upgrades and enhances as necessary.

  • Apply for a loan or provide your employment verification
  • Use your debit card

    Why can't I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

  • State law and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
    Definitions
    Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
    Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
    • Southern Coastal Federal Credit Union does not share with our nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
    Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
    • Southern Coastal Federal Credit Union does not share for joint marketing purposes.

    Other important information

    To protect our Member's privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide. We do not permit these companies to sell to other parties the information we provide to them. Information about our Members will only be disclosed as permitted or required by law. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access by third parties, including the destruction of information after it has been used.
